The duo, who picked up the gong for Best Electronic/Dance Album, said that they almost missed picking up their award after security held the pair outside the venue for two hours.
"We spent two hours trying to find someone to get us there," Elly Jackson told the Daily Star. "The security doesn't like us. It's been a total nightmare."
On winning the prestigious music prize, she said: "It's an incredible day for us. We never thought this would happen to us so early in our career."
Producer Ben Langmaid added: "We want to expand from what we started and make it bigger, more epic."
Jackson recently revealed that her voice will sound "really different" on their next LP.
