The singer, who is working on her fifth studio album, said she is bored of the latest musical trend because all artists' music sounds similar.
"I have been so tired of music lately. It just all sounds the same and artists are forced to record songs that sound like every other song or their music will get shelved," she wrote via Twitter.
"Finally, Dr. Dre comes out with something so great. His new song 'I need a doctor' feat Eminem and Skylar Grey is a fresh taste of what music has the capability of being. Thank you Dr. Dre! I'm inspired and loving every second of this song (sic)."
Clarkson added that she is recording the last song for her new LP on February 25, and cited Prince, Tina Turner, Sheryl Crow and Radiohead as her influences.
"Oh and also one of my favourites on the new album is highly influenced by Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder," she revealed. "Eric Hutchinson wrote it...the album is gonna be a great pop record! I can't wait for y'all to hear it!"
The star recently claimed to have finished her forthcoming album, but told fans the release had been delayed due to a shakeup at her record label.
