Lady GaGa has topped the US Hot 100 with 'Born This Way'.

The singer, who rush-released the track last Friday, debuts at number one on the tally and marks the Billboard chart's 1000th number one single in its 52-year history.

"It is a tremendous honour," she admitted. "To be the 1000th number one on Billboard...I would be silly not to say this is the greatest honour of my career."

Behind GaGa, Katy Perry is at two with 'Firework', while Bruno Mars's 'Grenade' completes the top three.

Following his Grammy Awards performance, Cee Lo Green's 'F**k You' vaults from 16 to seven, and Rihanna's 'S&M' leaps 31 to number eight.

Elsewhere, Jay Sean and Lil Wayne's 'Hit The Lights' lands at 18, and Wiz Khalifa's 'Roll Up' enters at 48.
