According to The Independent, users discovered the band's first track 'Lotus Flower' on the official website accompanied by a black-and-white video of lead singer Thom Yorke miming and dancing, before the whole LP was added seconds later.
Guitarist Ed O'Brien explained the decision, saying, "It's Friday... it's almost the weekend... it's the full moon."
The King Of Limbs, which is available in shops from today, succeeds the controversial In Rainbows, which made headlines in 2007 for being given an optional price tag.
