The singer also told Metro that the group had recorded a potential lead single for the follow-up to last year's Sweet 7.
Range said: "We've been in the studio and we're working on the new album so hopefully it will be ready for summer.
"We did a song last week that we think could be a first single. That's exciting when you get to that stage. We haven't really decided on the tracks but we're trying out different styles."
Of being the longest-standing member of the group, which currently also features Amelle Berrabah and Jade Ewen, Range added: "I've been in the band for ten years in August, which makes me feel really old.
"Me and the girls get on great so it's nice that we've been able to take our time with this album and it's not a rush, so we're getting it right before we bring it out."
