Ellis-Bextor joins Erasure on forest tour

Sophie Ellis-Bextor has been announced as the special guest on Erasure's upcoming tour of England's forests.

The synthpop duo take their Total Pop! tour to a number of woodland areas as part of Forestry Commission Live Music. Ellis-Bextor provides support on all the June dates, but will not play the final July show.

Ellis-Bextor said: "I am really looking forward to supporting Erasure on the June dates of their Total Pop! Forest tour. I can't wait to get out in the woods!"

The full tour dates are as follows:

• June 10 - Thetford Forest, Nr Brandon, Suffolk
• June 11 - Bedgebury Pinetum & Forest, Nr Tunbridge Wells, Kent
• June 17 - Sherwood Pines Forest Park, Nr Edwinstowe, Nottinghamshire
• June 18 - Westonbirt Arboretum, Nr Tetbury, Gloucestershire
• June 24 - Cannock Chase Forest, Nr Rugeley, Staffordshire
• June 25 - Dalby Forest, Nr Pickering, North Yorks
• July 1 - Delamere Forest, Delamere, Cheshire (Ellis-Bextor will not perform)
