The 'Love EP' star told DS that she is a big fan of the release from the guitarist/singer's side project Rain Machine.
Bailey Rae said: "I really like this record from the singer from TV On The Radio, Kyp Malone - he's got a solo project called Rain Machine.
"It's folksy but electronic as well. It's unusual songs. I like that it breaks rules and that he's got a really unconventional voice."
Asked about other current artists she has enjoyed, she continued: "Janelle Monae's really great. I went to see her in Manchester a few months ago.
"Kanye [West]'s record is brilliant - it's just fresh and different and risk-taking, and I love that Bon Iver sample and he's laid it up with all this vocoder.
"I like when people have a high profile and they take risks. I don't like hearing records that sound like they've been planned by a committee - it's not a good way to make art."
