The 'Playing With Fire' singers apparently met the band at an LA music studio this week, where they are both working on new material.
Dappy introduced himself to frontman Anthony Kiedis and invited them to listen to some of their tracks, which they agreed to, The Sun reports.
Fazer said: "We're big fans of them so it was very cool to meet them. They just happened to be in the next studio to us, so we had to say hello.
"Our trip to the US has been jam-packed. We've been recording late into the night every day but managed one day off to have fun. We can't wait to share the tracks we've been recording with everyone."
The report adds that Def Jam bosses believe that N-Dubz have a big future ahead of them in America.
