The 'Words' band, who kicked off their 'Brother' tour in Liverpool on February 21, showcase a five-minute documentary about Gately as part of their set.
The short includes the band speaking of their loss, with Ronan Keating saying: "I still see him sitting in the corner, or on the microphone."
Keith Duffy adds: "When you realise he's not going to walk in - that's the tough moment."
Gately tragically passed away while on holiday in Mallorca back in October 2009.
Boyzone are currently part way through the jaunt, which is due to finish up at Belfast's Odyssey Arena on March 18.
