The 'Born This Way' star singled out the British singer during an interview on BBC Radio 1 with Greg James.
"I love so many wonderful artists," she told the DJ. "I love Adele. I think Adele is wonderful and I'm so excited at the success she has had over the past couple of weeks with the Brits and everything. It's so wonderful."
She added: "I love so many people! Obviously it's no surprise that I love Elton [John] and the Pet Shop Boys as well."
Adele is currently number one in both the UK singles and album chart.
