'No plans' for future Libertines gigs

By
The Libertines
A spokesperson for The Libertines has denied reports that the band are poised for a series of UK live shows.

The band played a pair of reunion gigs at last year's Reading and Leeds festivals and have been tipped to perform together again at this year's Glastonbury.

Meanwhile, co-frontman Carl Barat's recent deal with artist investment company PowerAmp Music is also said to have an impact on the band's future.

However the band's spokesperson told NME: "Contrary to press reports today, The Libertines are not involved in any deal with PowerAmp Music and no shows are scheduled for the foreseeable future whilst all members continue to work on their individual projects."

Since The Libertines' reunion shows last year, Barat and singer/guitarist Pete Doherty have played their own solo shows.
