The 'Get Out' singer announced that the follow-up to 2006's The High Road is to be called Jumping Trains.
"My third album will be called Jumping Trains and it's very symbolic for a variety of reasons," she says in an online video.
"Moving from Boston to L.A., transitioning from being a girl to being a young woman, living on my own, taking a different direction sonically, and just really finding myself and just jumping into a new chapter of life."
The album has been in recording and production since 2008 and was originally intended to be released in 2009, but a series of issues at the singer's record label caused the release schedule to be pushed back.
Her label Blackground Records recently reached a distribution deal with Interscope Records, which will see the album be released later this year.
