The 'Show Goes On' star released his new album Lasers on Monday, but already has plans to produce a new LP by the end of the year.
"There's another Lupe record that I want to do before the end of the year," he told Gigwise.
"Because it's been so long, it's been four years [since 2007's The Cool], I think we have the opportunity to write.
"So I'm actively getting the label to agree with that, and that will be it."
The star recently revealed that criticism from his label nearly drove him to contemplate suicide.
