'Pussycat Dolls' singer Nicole Scherzinger
Nicole Scherzinger has revealed that she looked scared while recording a duet with Sting.

The 'Don't Hold Your Breath' singer duets with Sting on her new album Killer Love, which is due out March 21.

Speaking of the experience, she told The Sun: "His energy is very commanding, in a subtle way. He is giving, generous and kind.

"I flew to Boston for his show with The Police. I met him and he was everything and more than I thought.

"I felt like we were doing yoga when we were singing. He was such an easy guy to work with."

The ex-Pussycat Doll admitted that she had to tell herself to "be cool" while working in such close proximity to The Police star.

"Singing on the same mic you are really close. He had fresh breath. No broccoli in the teeth.

"They took a picture and I was like a 5-year-old. He looks stunning and I look scared."

Scherzinger's new single 'Don't Hold Your Breath' is out March 13.
