The 'Single Ladies' singer is said to be returning to an R&B-based sound for her fourth studio album and has teamed up with Kanye West for the record.
A source linked to her producer Robert 'Shea' Taylor has suggested to PopEater that a new track may be released by the end of next month.
Taylor compared the material to Michael Jackson in his "prime", commenting that the collaboration with West is "amazing".
The singer is believed to have worked with a string of producers on her new album including Diplo, Usher and the man behind 'Single Ladies', Christopher 'Tricky' Stewart.
The release of new material would coincide with Beyoncé's confirmed headline slot at this year's Glastonbury Festival.
