The singer, who has rejoined the former band in order to perform at the Europe-wide pop event, told The Mirror that he has hopes that Blue can regain the Eurovision title for the UK.
Speaking at the unveiling of their entry 'I Can', Webbe said: "I'm not getting nil points.
"We'd like to say that Eurovision is not about the political side, it's about music and what music does is bring a wide audience of people together from different genres of music.
"People just want to have fun on the night and we're hoping politics won't get in the way."
