Minaj 'excited to tour with Lil Wayne'

Nicki Minaj has confessed that she is "very excited" to be joining Lil Wayne's upcoming tour.

Talking to MTV News, the 'Moment 4 Life' rapper recalled her initial slot on Wayne's 2009 'I Am Music' dates, during which she only performed a few songs rather than having her own complete set.

"Oh my God, I'm very excited to be touring with Wayne," she said.

"The last time I toured with Wayne I was on stage for three minutes. Now I have my own set, I have my own lighting, my own costumes, my own dancers, my own everything. And this is what I've been praying for [for] a very long time."

Rick Ross, Travis Barker and Mixmaster Mike will also join Minaj and Wayne on the 24-city 'I Am Music II' tour.
