A teaser video combining footage from West's music videos, TV appearances and live shows was posted on YouTube over the weekend. The short film concludes with the words: "Kanye West, Saturday, March 19, 11.59pm, Vevo Powerstation, Austin, TX."
West last played at the festival in 2009, making a surprise appearance at the Fader Fort.
Other acts confirmed for the Austin showcase, which takes place between March 15 and March 20, include Calvin Harris, Ellie Goulding, Panic At The Disco and James Blake.
