Mumford & Sons to record new LP this year

The band previously revealed that they have already started to write tracks for the follow-up to 2009's Sigh No More, but they are now looking to lay the songs down.
"We want to get the second album recorded this year, and we're hoping to have gigged the record in before going to the studio," band member Ben Lovett told Rolling Stone.
They are also planning to work with Sigh No More producer Markus Dravs again, with Lovett adding: "I think we could perhaps record it ourselves, but we'd get lost in our own sorts.
"He's really good at bringing a little bit of structure and order to very disorganised minds."
The band recently saw sales of their debut record pass one million in both the UK and the US.
