Babyshambles fail to show up to gig

Babyshambles have failed to show up to a scheduled gig in London.
The group, fronted by Pete Doherty, were due to play in London venue Koko on Thursday night, according to MTV, but cancelled the gig after a member of the group suffered a sudden bereavement, necessitating a visit to Tenerife.
Fans were not warned about the cancellation, and have been awarded free tickets for the group's new show.
