Human League: 'Perry just a pair of t*ts'

The Human League have criticised Katy Perry for relying more on her appearance than her music.

Signer Philip Oakey claimed that The Human League seem "mundane" compared to modern acts who are "really outrageous".

"You can't horrify people anymore though, it's all been done," he told GT.

"The outrage seems all pretty well worked out now. Artists like Katy Perry. As far as I can see, the appeal of Katy Perry is a pair of t*ts.

"I look on a load of showbiz blogs and every day she reveals more and more - as much breast as she can reveal without revealing a nipple."

"That's honestly the promotion of Katy Perry. She turned up in Australia and guess what? Low-cut top. I've got to say the music is not so good."

The band are due to release their ninth studio album Credo on March 21.
