The game is currently the headline sponsor for Minogue's 'European Les Folies Tour 2011'.
The three-minute film shows a male gamer performing some of Minogue's iconic dance routines using the Dance Central controller-free system. As the film progresses and the dancer gets better at the routine, he starts to believe that he is Minogue.
The Australian singer will also appear in the short, which is directed by Peep Show helmer Becky Martin, after enabling film crews backstage access to her tour.
"Creating an entertaining short film allows us to amplify Dance Central's sponsorship of the 'Les Folies' tour in an amusing and attention-grabbing way to engage new audiences and drive word of mouth among thousands of Kylie fans," said Chris Lewis, Xbox's EMEA vice president of interactive entertainment business.
Minogue recently admitted that she is disappointed with the chart performances of her latest singles.
