The band previously took the record on the road in 2008 and played it in full at the following year's Glastonbury Festival.
Those dates were followed last December with a tour of their first two albums, Crocodiles and Heaven Up Here.
Echo & The Bunnymen will again be joined by a string section as they play the record, which features tracks including 'The Killing Moon', 'Crystal Days' and 'Seven Seas'. Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 25 at 9.30am.
The band's last new studio release was 2009's The Fountain.
The full 2011 Ocean Rain tour dates are as follows:
- September 24 - Manchester Palace Theatre
- September 25 - Birmingham Symphony Hall
- September 26 - London Palladium
- September 28 - Glasgow Royal Concert Hall
- September 29 - York Grand Opera House
- September 30 - Liverpool Philharmonic Hall
