The British songstress has knocked last week's number one, Nicole Scherzinger's 'Don't Hold Your Breath', down to number two, with The Wanted staying put in third position with Comic Relief single 'Gold Forever'.
The Black Eyed Peas climb into the top ten, settling at number seven with new single 'Just Can't Get Enough'.
Lady GaGa's 'Born This Way' slips out of the top ten for the first time and is currently placed at number 11, just a few spots above Geraldine McQueen and Susan Boyle's charity duet 'I Know Him So Well', which enters at 14.
Kanye West's feature-filled 'All Of The Lights' vaults up to the edge of the top 20, settling at number 21, while Take That's 'Happy Now' enters at number 32 following their Comic Relief performance.
Adele is still dominating the album chart, with 21 spending its ninth week on top. The Strokes are the highest new entry with their new LP Angles landing at number two, while Nicole Scherzinger enters at number seven with her debut solo album Killer Love.
The official chart positions will be revealed this Sunday from 7pm.
