It is the lead track from a four-song EP with Neon Indian. Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne revealed on Twitter that he has delivered copies of the 12" to Guestroom Records in Oklahoma City and Good Records in Dallas.
According to Pitchfork, the full tracklisting of the collaborative EP is as follows:
1. 'Is David Bowie Dying?'
2. 'Alan's Theremin'
3. 'You Don't Respond'
4. 'Do You Want New Wave or Do You Want the Truth Part 2'
The lead track has been made available to stream via One Thirty BPM on Soundcloud.
The psychedelic band had previously confirmed plans to release a song a month rather than record a full-length follow-up to 2009's Embryonic.
