Charlatans, Cribs for Friends of Mine fest

The lineup for this year's Friends of Mine festival in Cheshire this spring has been confirmed.

Bad Lieutenant headline on Friday, May 20 and are preceded by The Lightning Seeds and Mr Scruff. May 21 sees performances from The Cribs, Badly Drawn Boy and Black Lips. The Charlatans top the bill on May 22, with additional performances from The Fall, Young Knives and The Whip.

Other artists confirmed across the festival include Chris Helme, John Mackie feat. Bonehead, The Wedding Present, Puressence, Cherry Ghost, Get Cape.Wear Cape.Fly, Emmy The Great, Horace Andy, Yuck and A Certain Ratio.

The festival's Country House Party features sets from Howard Marks, Stephen Morris, Tim Burgess, Dave Haslam, Douglas Hart and Mike Joyce.

Friends of Mine takes place at Capesthorne Hall, Cheshire - 14 miles from Manchester. Adult tickets for three days including camping are priced at £89.50 and are available now.

2011 marks the first green field festival from Friends of Mine, which started life in 2004 as a Manchester-based clubnight for new artists.
