Reports suggesting that the pair were planning to work together first surfaced in January.
The collaboration is due to appear on Bennett's new album, titled Duets II, which is to be released on September 20.
The album is the follow-up to his 2006 album Duets: An American Classic, which included collaborations with George Michael, Sir Paul McCartney and Celine Dion.
As well as Winehouse, the new album will feature contributions from Mariah Carey, Sheryl Crow and Norah Jones.
Winehouse also reportedly recorded a duet with Cee Lo Green while she was holidaying in St Lucia.
