Bieber recently revealed that he was influenced by the UK garage singer and the pair united on stage earlier this month for a duet on David's 2000 single '7 Days'.
Asked if they could ever join up in the studio, David told Heat: "You never know. If he was up for something and it came through, we'd definitely record a song together."
He continued: "He's a really, lovely, talented kid. He's very sharp and he's got a very dry sense of humour. He's a cool kid. I think he's got an ability, with all this craziness going on, to be very relaxed with everything, and I think he's got good people around him. I hope that continues into his 20s."
Of how their on-stage duet occurred, David explained: "He was at the side of the stage enjoying the performance of '7 Days' - which is one of his favourite songs - and the next thing I know he's up on stage, singing.
"It was quite interesting because I thought, demographic-wise, he would probably have to be careful about singing about making love on Wednesday!"
