The 'Till the World Ends' singer was to guest on the syndicated talkshow this week to discuss her latest LP Femme Fatale, but an official statement has been posted on Spears's Facebook indicating that the appearance will be shelved.
"The Ellen DeGeneres Show [interview] has been postponed due to scheduling conflicts on both ends. Trying to put it back together for a later date," the statement reads.
Spears has filmed a series of interviews with DeGeneres in the past, most recently in 2008 while promoting Circus.
It was also announced this morning that Spears will team with Enrique Iglesias for a series of concerts, kicking off with a gig in Sacramento on June 17.
She is also scheduled to perform at this year's Kids' Choice Awards, which are to be hosted by Jack Black.
