Arctics cover star defends smoking
The man who appears on the cover of the Arctic Monkeys' debut album has defended his right to smoke.

Chris McClure - pictured with a cigarette in his mouth on Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not - has come under fire from anti-smoking groups, who believe the photo is a bad example for young people.

"It's mad. Every day we see pictures of people being blown up in wars we're fighting abroad for reasons we don't understand," McClure told the Daily Star at the weekend. "And people are having a go at me for having a ciggie? I still buy 20 a day and don't worry about it."
