The 'Bring It' singer told Digital Spy that she wrote the track a few years ago, though it was never recorded by the Aussie performer.
"I wrote a track a few summers ago and I said it would be perfect for Kylie Minogue. I would have loved for her to have cut it, but it's just such a tough industry to get tracks placed," Connor explained.
"It's just been signed by another label now and they're putting a different singer on it."
The singer-songwriter, who has previously worked with Roll Deep and Tinchy Stryder, insisted that she has another collaboration in the works.
She said: "I think there's going to be another one, yes, but we're still in talks as to who it's going to be."
Connor recently revealed that she doesn't regret her time on Pop Idol, further asserting that she was never tempted to enter The X Factor.
'Bring It' is available to download now.
