The show at London's O2 Brixton Academy was headlined by Beady Eye, with support from Primal Scream, Richard Ashcroft, Kelly Jones, Paul Weller, Graham Coxon and The Coral.
In the absence of Gary 'Mani' Mounfield, Matlock played bass for Primal Scream in their Screamadelica-heavy set, NME reports.
Matlock previously played bass on Primal Scream's 'Medication' from their 1997 album Vanishing Point.
Beady Eye frontman Liam Gallagher again dedicated album track 'Kill For A Dream' to those affected by the natural disasters in Japan.
A second benefit show planned for Wembley Arena was reportedly cancelled last week after organisers failed to book enough headline acts.
