Willow scored a hit last year with the R&B dance-pop single 'Whip My Hair'. Her mother Jada Pinkett was previously in a metal band called Wicked Wisdom but gave up music to support her children's careers.
Asked if Willow would show a metal influence, Jada Pinkett told Metro: "Probably, as she gets older. She loves heavy music. She loves a group called Lamb Of God and one of her favourite albums is Killadelphia."
She added: "When I played metal music, I was mocked. I got death threats when I was added to the Ozzfest lineup but I stuck with it. At the end of that, people got on board. Me doing metal was one of my biggest learning experiences.
"The Ozzfest kids were like, 'Hell no', and I got tonnes of death threats. I didn't pay attention to them, [My husband] Will dealt with it. I just thought it was people on their computers with nothing better do to than spew stupid crap.
"It got to the point my husband considered, but never did which I respect him for, asking me not to do it."
Earlier this month, Jada Pinkett defended her decision to allow Willow, 10, and her 12-year-old son Jaden to become child stars.
