The duo, consisting of brothers John and Edward Grimes, are to represent Ireland in Dusseldorf, Germany next month with their track 'Lipstick'.
"We're 19 and it will be girl teenagers voting, so they're more likely to vote for us. I've heard everyone else's Eurovision song and ours is better," Edward told The Sun.
Speaking of rivals Blue, who are to represent the UK with comeback track 'I Can', John stated: "We never ditched our fans and came back. We've always been here."
Edward added: "I remember we found a Blue annual in a charity shop when we were kids and bought it."
Blue recently admitted feeling "upset" following Phillip Schofield's outburst against their Eurovision entry on Twitter last month.
Jedward have stated that they are taking their entry into the competition as "100% serious".
