La Roux singer Elly Jackson has revealed that Dre wanted to use 'In For The Kill' after he had heard the Skream remix version of the track on HBO show Entourage.
"He got really excited about the track which is obviously really complimentary," Jackson told BBC Newsbeat.
"He did something with it and then sent it to us and said can he use it for his record and we said 'Yes'."
Detox will be Dre's third studio album and his first solo release in over a decade. The LP has no confirmed release date but is expected to be available before the end of 2011.
It was previously reported that Jay-Z and Beyoncé are to collaborate with Dre on the album.
