The 'Lollipop' star failed to obtain a work permit due to his previous convictions, for which he spent the majority of 2010 in jail for, reports Stereoboard.
The rapper had planned to do an extensive tour across the UK and Europe, with festival slots booked and a heavy promotion push for his upcoming album Tha Carter IV, which is due to be released May 13.
The album's producer, Bryan 'Birdman' Williams, previously revealed that fans will see a new side to Wayne on his new LP.
Nicki Minaj has admitted that she is "very excited" to be joining Wayne on the American leg of his tour this summer.
