Take That have surpassed the two million sales mark for their Progress LP.

The 'Kidz' singers released the album, the first to feature the group as a five-piece in over 15 years, on November 15, meaning the LP has taken just 139 days to achieve the milestone.

Progress is the first record to reach the two million sales mark in this decade, narrowly beating Adele's 21, which currently stands with sales of 1.86 million, reports Music Week.

It is the fourth album by Take That to achieve sales upwards of two million, making them the only group to have four million-selling LPs in the 21st century.

The band recently revealed that they've started writing material for a new album, which has included sessions with Robbie Williams, who may remain with the group for longer than expected.
