The 'All For You' singer previously revealed that she was to perform in 35 cities worldwide to represent her 35 number one hits, but now Jackson has decided to expand the tour due to popular demand.
Jackson will return to the US in the autumn, after playing a number of sold-out shows across Europe in the spring and summer.
Speaking about her show, she explained: "When creating music or a tour, I draw from what is going on in my life and hope that the fans relate to it.
"I am excited to know that the fans are having a great time at my shows and are asking for more. Thanks for all the love and your input on where I should take the show next. I'll see you soon!"
The initial schedule sold out in ten minutes when tickets went on sale last month. Exact dates and venues have yet to be confirmed.
Jackson recently signed a production deal with Lionsgate Films.
