Coldplay fans 'won't have sex on first date'

A new music-focused dating website has claimed to discover which bands' fans are least and most likely to have sex on a first date.

Tastebuds.fm matches people on the site based on their tastes in music and favourite artists.

One of the questions asks users what they will do on a first date. Users would then select either "I'd only meet up for a chat", "Perhaps a kiss" or "I'd go all the way if the mood was right".

The answers are then matched up with tastes in music, showing that fans of Coldplay and Adele were least likely to have sex on a first date, while fans of Nirvana and Metallica were most likely.

The top fives were as follows.
