Alicia Keys has announced that she is to reissue a special ten-year anniversary edition of her debut LP Songs in A Minor.

The album, which was released in June 2001, contained Keys's classic hit 'Fallin'' and went on to top the US album chart, as well as win five Grammy Awards.

A deluxe and collector's edition of the LP will be released on June 28, with the 'Empire State of Mind' singer performing an intimate gig for fans at New York's Beacon Theatre on June 30.

"It's incredibly surreal for me to be celebrating the tenth anniversary of Songs in A Minor. This album is possibly the most precious to me. I'm so proud the songs are still being enjoyed, and I'm crazy excited to share songs never heard before," Keys stated.

The special edition records will include previously-unreleased bonus material and remixes, with the collector's edition also to feature a specially created documentary.

The singer-songwriter recently dedicated her latest single to her newborn son.
