Speaking on Moyles's Radio 1 breakfast show, the DJs confirmed that they would repeat last year's on-location broadcasts, having been in Bangor in 2010.
"We're going to be in a big country house," Moyles said, before joking that it is probably haunted.
James also added that footage will be broadcast online and on the BBC Red Button.
Acts including Black Eyed Peas, the Foo Fighters, Nicole Scherzinger and Lady GaGa have been confirmed for the event, which will take place between May 14 and May 15 at Carlisle Airport.
The Strokes, Friendly Fires, The Vaccines and Noah and the Whale were also recently added to the two-day event.
