The 'Mykonos' band played a surprise show last week in their hometown of Seattle, performing a mixture of old and new tracks, according to Spin.
The group debuted a select few new songs taken from their upcoming album Helplessness Blues.
The songs unveiled included 'Grown Ocean', 'Battery Kinzie' and title track 'Helplessness Blues', which "veered through various moods before ending".
The new material is described as feeling "denser than the band's early, ethereal pop".
The band recently revealed that they re-recorded the album as they weren't happy with the original material it contained.
