The Rascals frontman and Last Shadow Puppets member previously revealed that he played guitar "on one of [the] songs" on Gallagher's LP.
"I was only in there for a couple of hours," he added. "I did my thing."
However, when Kane was asked on Absolute Radio's Geoff Lloyd Hometime Show if he would be playing guitar on Gallagher's album, he replied: "I'm not, I can't say anything about what he's doing... When he's ready he can tell you all about that, man."
Of their collaboration on his own record Colour of The Trap, Kane said: "That's a thing the press blow out of the water, but I was mixing my record and he came down one afternoon to hang out, and I was going to put these harmonies on and he ended up doing it.
"I just met him a couple of times really, and it was just one of them things where I was mixing, he was about and came in to say hello, and had a Kit Kat and a coffee and sang a bit of BVs, you know."
A supposed tracklisting for Gallagher's solo debut leaked earlier this month, but the details have not been confirmed or denied.
Tune into the Absolute Radio Geoff Lloyd Hometime Show on Monday May 9 from 7pm-8pm to hear the full interview and session. For more information visit Absolute Radio's website.
