Plan B, Everything Everything lead Ivor noms

Everything Everything's 'MY KZ, UR BF' will compete against the Villagers hit 'Becoming a Jackal' and The Foals' 'Spanish Sahara' for 'Best Song Musically and Lyrically', while Plan B is up against them in the 'Album Award' shortlist for Defamation of Strickland Banks alongside Bombay Bicycle Club's Flaws.
The 'Prayin'' singer is also up for the 'Most Performed Work' for 'She Said', against Kylie Mingoue's 'All The Lovers' and Scouting For Girls's 'This Ain't A Love Song'.
Other songs nominated for this year's Ivor Novello awards, which honour excellence for British music writing in 2010, include Katy B's 'On A Mission', Tinie Tempah's 'Pass Out' and The xx's 'Islands'.
Trophies will also be presented for 'Best Television Soundtrack', 'Best Original Film Score' and 'Best Original Video Game Score'.
This year's Ivor Novello Awards take place at London's Grosvenor House on May 29.
