In a farewell post, Maddie and Caroline outlined their reasons for closing Lee-Ryan.Org and directed those still following Ryan to alternative AllRiseForLee.com.
"We are extremely sorry to announce that we are forced to close Lee-Ryan.org after running this fansite for six consecutive years," they said.
"We decided to do it for several reasons. Firstly, we are no longer Lee Ryan's fans which is why running this website became pointless for us.
"Moreover, we do not have time anymore to continue operating this fansite and searching for news and photos related to Lee Ryan. Lastly, we would like to focus finally on our private lives as well as education and other duties."
They added: "We wish to thank Lee Ryan for being such a great inspiration and role model for the most of the time."
Ryan recently revealed that he used a lewd chat-up line on MTV presenter Laura Whitmore.
He previously admitted to having sex in the back of a taxi, adding that he "had to give the driver an extra tip after that". Ryan also confessed to giving Blue bandmate Duncan James a "high five" while they both partook in a threesome.
