Damon Albarn has confirmed Gorillaz are to split – but they might play a finale of gigs in Las Vegas.
The singer, who has left the animated band, said he wants to spend more time working with Blur. He confirmed there will be no more Gorillaz albums after Demon Days, commenting: "I don’t think we could make a better album than that really.
"There’s a possibility of doing shows one more time in Las Vegas, but we’re not sure when,” continued Albarn. "I love the idea of Gorillaz playing Vegas. It’ll be big and all bells and whistles. Then that’s it."
