According to The Sun, the singer has been invited to appear at Judge Jules's 'Judgement Sundays' at the Eden club from August 21.
Donald, who performed an exclusive set at Birmingham's Gatecrasher club in 2009, will appear alongside DJs including Jules, Marco V, Eddie Halliwell and Ferry Cortesen.
"Howard's been DJing for years now after taking it up when he was in the wilderness after the group's split in 1996," a source told the paper. "At first he wasn't taken very seriously but now he's well respected.
"He's focused on the tour right now but is also excited about these DJ dates. To get the call from Judge Jules is a big deal."
The insider added: "He'll be playing alongside huge names from house and techno, but it will certainly be a different story to live shows with his group."
Howard, who is known as DJ HD when DJing, will finish Take That's Progress Live tour in Munich on July 29.
