The 'Rolling In The Deep' singer held her sophomore record at pole position and dragged its predecessor 19 back to the runner-up spot to dominate the rankings once again.
19, originally released in January 2008, has now finished in second for five of the 14 weeks since 21's release.
Landing just behind Adele at three are The Wombats, who score their highest album chart placing to date with their second studio LP This Modern Glitch, while Wasting Light by Foo Fighters and Jessie J's Who You Are round out the top five.
Further down the chart, Radiohead leap a hefty 25 places to seven from last week's 32 with The King Of Limbs, a result stemming from the recent release of a limited edition box set of the album, and No More Idols by Chase & Status also returns to the heights of the chart after climbing from 16 to ten.
Also advancing this Sunday are Michael Bublé and Crazy Love, up two to 11 in its 80th week, Last Night On Earth by Noah And The Whale, at 15 from 25, and Pink's Greatest Hits collection, which is up eight to 19.
Finally, American Idol alumnus and Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson lands at 20 with her latest album I Remember Me, Ellie Goulding's Lights re-enters the top 40 at 24 following her performance at Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding reception, and Chipmunk's latest effort Transition crashes a massive 17 places from ten to 27.
