The singer, who releases her second single 'Finish Line' next week, said that she finds it difficult to describe the genre of her music because it is influenced by many different sounds.
In an interview with Digital Spy, she said: "Everyone says, 'What is your music [and] how would you describe it?' Now I'd have to describe it as 'what the f**k?' music.
"When you hear it you say, 'What the f**k is that?'"
Discussing her as-yet-untitled debut album, she revealed: "It's different, it's fresh, it's soulful - there's elements of hip hop.
"My voice is naturally a pop voice, but a lot of the melodies are soulful, R&B-influenced. There's a million things all in one pot."
'Finish Line' is out on May 8.
