The track will serve as the next single from Hilson's album No Boys Allowed, which to date has peaked at number 76 in the UK album chart.
Produced by Ne-Yo and Chuck Harmony, 'Pretty Girl Rock' has sold over 1.3 million downloads in the US, while the Joseph Khan-directed video has been viewed over 24 million times on YouTube. Based on downloads alone, the song has already peaked at number 53 in the UK singles chart.
Hilson, who will visit the UK in the first week of June, said: "I remember Ne-Yo playing it for me in the studio. I loved it as soon as I heard it!
"I really want women to understand that this song is not about me being cocky. It's about women not allowing other people to tell us how to feel about ourselves."
The 28-year-old, one of four global ambassadors for MTV's HIV 'Staying Alive' campaign, added: "So many of us search for validation from outside. But we need to have that confidence to feel beautiful no matter what anyone else says."
Hilson most recently featured on Chipmunk's top 40 single 'In The Air'.
